Games Workshop gives away Daemon Hunter Codex
Games Workshop has decided to make the unprecedented move and release a Warhammer 40,000 codex for free as a PDF. Games Workshop has made the codex available as a download from their website and will possibly be releasing the Witch Hunters codex as a free download at some future point. As a further surprise this is an update from the soft cover previously available in that it removes the allies rule affecting Space Marine and Imperial Guard players alike. This has the potential to create some waves in the tournaments and may go unnoticed by many. Personally this is my favorite part of the PDF as I've long touted the imbalanced nature of the Allies rule. Mozilla releases Firefox 3.6.4
The new Firefox, codenamed ‘Lorentz’ hit yesterday. The big feature of this release is the Out-of-Process Plug-in (OOPP). This feature prevents addons such as Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight, and Apple QuickTime from crashing the browser. When one of these addons encounters a fatal error a message is sent to the browser alerting the user and the addon is shut down. This does not sound like a big change, but how many of us have had Flash prevent us from using our browser after a crash? Version 3.6.4 also contains a number of security fixes and current Firefox users are advised to install this update.
