I'm sure all of us V for Vendetta fans out there will forever more remember remember the 5th of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot, thanks to writer Alan Moore, the Wachowski Brothers and the velvety smooth voice of Hugo Weaving. (And maybe Wikipedia too. But certainly not our world history books.)
In honor of this much-loved film, and in honor of the iconic-looking anarchist fellow they're honoring in that film, Guy Fawkes, I present to you a scene from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's recent Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.

The event drew over 200,000 folks to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on Halloween weekend, many of whom were huge, shameless geeks. (And many of whom climbed fences and trees and whatever else was around in an attempt to see or hear what the heck was going on.)
